Hi Zara, I'm so glad to see your comment on my blog. Your song means a lot to me. I am even more lost now, I just moved to Zurich to live! I will certainly look out for your new song. I am sure it will provide even more motivation for me.

Thanks for this story - I enjoyed it and it brought back some tropical memories.
I spent a total of 5 mths in Fiji over three years when my parents were living there (1999-2001) and I stayed during uni breaks. It was so quiet and lonely particularly at night (we lived in a rural area not far from a village and main road but pretty quiet and surrounded by farms, mangroves, jungle) and the geckos were good company. Their "tchak, tchak" noises were amazingly loud for their tiny little bodies! One night I felt someone looking at me, looked up to see one sitting on the top of the open door, gazing right at me! Freaked me out a bit.
We also had mongooses (unlike the birds 'geese', the plural of mongoose is mongooses not mongeese!) running around in the 'yard' and rooting through the rubbish bin at night. Scary bright red eyes on those things!

Wow, another fantastic match. Although I was going for Federer I think Nadal totally deserves that victory and he is a true champion. To back a 5 set, 5 hour semi final up with another 5 set, 4 hour + final in less than 48 hours was a true show of Rafa's strength and endurance. You could also see by the body language of the players and shot selection that Rafa had the edge on Federer mentally. To have won 6 grandslams on 3 different surfaces at Rafa's age is a truely remarkable feat. I was hoping Federer would equal Sampras' record of 14 grand slams but Rafa was truely deserving having played another great match. Rafa truely is an entertainer as he is involved in all three of the greatest matches I have now seen - the Wimbledon final against Federer last year, the semi final against Verdasco the other day and this final against Federer. It will be very tough for Federer to recover from the mental scarring that has occurred in this loss and the Wimbledon loss last year along with all the French Open losses to Nadal. It was however very sad to see Federer break down in tears at the presentation, it was a horrible feeling to watch.

Not anywhere as inspirational but I did have a music situation the other day. My sister got a big promotion with her work and got her brand new car which she could pick. Very exciting. And she gets to do her 1st drive and has a song on the Cd which is a favourite between the 2 of us. Alannah Myles has a song Lover of mine which I am a huge fan of. Don;t know why or how but just love everything about it. It always makes me stop and think about who is my lover and why.... I have a copy on my ipod if you want to here...
